Looking for a quick, healthy, biohacked recipe for your snacks, aperitifs, or natural anti-inflammatory platters?
Here are my favorite crackers—crunchy, ultra simple, flourless, egg-free, gluten-free... and with only 3 ingredients! 🌱
🔬 The 3 Star Ingredients
Pumpkin seeds: Rich in zinc, magnesium, and essential fatty acids—great for hormonal balance and immune support.
Chia seeds: Packed with fiber and plant-based omega-3s, they swell in water to create the perfect texture (and support digestive health).
Golden (or yellow) flax seeds: Loaded with anti-inflammatory lignans, they also aid digestion. The golden variety is milder than brown flax.
🥣 Step-by-Step Recipe
🕒 Prep time: 5 min
🔥 Bake time: 20 + 5–10 min
Ingredients (for one baking sheet – adjust quantities as needed):
25 g (or 50 g, 100 g…) pumpkin seeds
25 g (or 50 g, 100 g…) chia seeds
25 g (or 50 g, 100 g…) golden flax seeds (half grounded, half not grounded)
½ glass filtered water (adjust based on total quantity)
Optional: Herbs, salt, turmeric, rosemary, fennel, other seeds for fun experiments…
🥄 Instructions:
Combine all seeds (grounded and whole) in a bowl.
Add ½ glass of water. Stir well. Water should not pool—add more if needed to fully moisten the seeds. (Too much water is not a problem, don’t panic!)
Let sit for 10 minutes until the mix becomes slightly gelatinous. You’ll know it’s ready when a spoon dragged through it leaves a visible trace.
Spread thinly on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 20 minutes.
Remove, let cool for 5 minutes, flip the cracker sheet, and bake again for 5–10 minutes to dry the other side.
Let cool completely, then break into cracker shapes.
