[free] Biohacking: It's OK If You Can’t Do Everything (No One Can)

And I’ll even explain why that’s actually a good thing.

A few years ago, I started to realize something crucial: biohacking should not be a source of stress.

And yet… the more we read, the more we listen, the more we scroll… the more we feel overwhelmed.

Every day brings a new molecule, a new gadget, a new morning habit that promises to make us immortal—and our brain goes into overdrive:
“I haven’t done that one yet, I should really try this too, I’m falling behind, I’m missing something essential, I’m going to age faster than the others…”

Stop.

Breathe.

You’re human. So am I.

You Can’t Do Everything (And That’s OK)

If you’ve ever felt guilty for not jumping into cold plunges, or injecting NAD+, or sticking to caloric restriction, or barefoot grounding at sunrise, or using an HBOT chamber, or optimizing HRV through breathwork, or injecting peptides, or using a continuous glucose monitor, or doing cryotherapy, chrononutrition, or homemade kombucha… or testing your Dunedin Pace, or using marine collagen from Himalayan jellyfish—
let me reassure you: nobody does it all every day.
Absolutely no one.

Even the most “hardcore” biohackers among us have to choose. Because time, mental bandwidth, budget, and logistics are all finite.
And honestly? Too many hacks will kill the benefit of hacking.

Over-optimization Becomes Counterproductive

You know that moment when you start stressing because you didn’t get enough blue light exposure this morning, or you rearrange your entire schedule for the perfect 18-minute red light session, or you feel guilty for missing your 28th supplement that should’ve been taken 6 minutes post-meal?

That’s when biohacking begins to work against your longevity rather than support it.

Why? Because chronic stress, even in the name of optimization, triggers the same inflammatory cascades and hormonal imbalances as any other type of stress: elevated cortisol, poor sleep, gut disruption, immune dysfunction.
You might be “doing everything right” on paper… while silently building an inflammatory terrain.

Choosing Your Biohacks: You Don’t Need Everything, Just the Right Things for YOU

What I always suggest (and what I do myself) is to choose your hacks based on YOUR current goal.
You’re not trying to do everything. You’re aiming for precision.

Your focus might be:

• Cognitive energy & focus → breathwork, morning light, uridine, cold exposure

• Immune support → glutathione, NAC, medicinal mushrooms, HRV training

• Inflammation reduction → glycine, liposomal curcumin, intermittent fasting, sauna

• Muscle recovery → sauna, creatine, red light, deep sleep, HBOT

You’re not obligated to do everything at once. You can cycle. You can test. You can adapt.

Cycling Your Hacks: The Key to Sustainable Gains

A lot of people think a good hack = something you do every day, for life.

Wrong.

Your body adapts.
Sometimes, you need to break the routine to re-stimulate results.

Personally, I use cycles:

• Peptides: 3 to 4-week cycles with breaks

• Cold exposure: daily 3-min cold shower and I keep 40F plunges for when I feel mentally foggy or sluggish

• Transdermal glutathione: double dose & daily when I’m traveling, exposed to toxins or feeling my liver needs love, otherwise, regular dose and it’s ok if I forget it once in a while

• Intermittent fasting: 5 days a week, with 2 “freedom eating” days to reset my metabolism

This preserves effectiveness, avoids receptor fatigue, and keeps my mind engaged.

Less Pressure = More Longevity

I’ve seen people completely burn out from trying to over-optimize.
And I’ve been close to that edge too.
One day, my Oura Ring gave me a warning: “Low HRV. Elevated temperature. Rest today.”
And I laughed.
Because that week I had done everything right.
Except for one thing: I had forgotten joy. Pleasure. Simplicity.

That was the moment I decided to stop trying to “do it all.”
Instead, I focus on what truly nourishes me—physically, emotionally, spiritually.

Final Thought: The Real Biohacking Is Listening

Here’s my message today:
You don’t need to do everything.
You don’t need to be perfect.
You just need to be aligned.

Biohacking isn’t a race to see who can pile on the most devices, labs, or molecules.
It’s a journey of self-knowledge. A path. A living art.

And sometimes, the most powerful thing you can do… is nothing at all.
Just breathe. Feel. Be.
